L&L Market After Dark: What Harding House, Saap Saap and Hattori Nori Changed on Charlotte Avenue

L&L Market's website lists the building's hours as 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. On a Friday this fall, a neighbor can walk into Jubilee Bar at noon and keep ordering until midnight. The posted hours haven't changed. The tenants have. Almost every business that opened at 3820 Charlotte Avenue in 2026 sets its schedule around dinner and later, so L&L now has two schedules: a morning-coffee one and an evening one.
The older food tenants open early. Honest Coffee Roasters posts hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, and Made in TN, the Tennessee-goods shop, closes at 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and at 5 p.m. on Sunday. The 2026 arrivals mostly start in the late afternoon:

Saap Saap notes on its website that hours may change. Hattori Nori's own site lists a different daytime schedule from the one in its opening announcement, so check before you go. Even so, the pattern holds across all three. The new growth at L&L happens after the coffee crowd heads home.
The biggest change is a single taproom with four businesses under one roof. Harding House Brewing Co. closed its taproom in The Nations in 2024 and reopened at L&L Market in September 2026, StyleBlueprint reported. The brewery didn't come back alone. Jubilee Bar, Saap Saap BBQ and Dogwood Acres Dairy share the space, and StyleBlueprint described it as four local concepts in one room.
On L&L's page for the brewery, Harding House says it began with homebrewing in Nashville in 2012 and built its beer around local agriculture, seasonal ingredients and Tennessee farmers. The new home extends that approach "across the entire experience." The beer is still brewed and distributed throughout Tennessee.
Each partner in that room covers a different part of the evening.
Put together, you get a full evening in one room. Saap Saap opens at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Jubilee keeps pouring well after the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. Dessert is a few steps away. L&L advertises free three-hour parking, which covers beer, dinner and a cone.
Hattori Nori came first, in July, and it shows the same evening-first approach in a smaller room. Chef Art Stacks, who founded Hattori Nori after success with Ricey & Co. and a residency at Skye Lounge in the downtown Sheraton, held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, according to the July 9, 2026 announcement on Visit Nashville. The release calls it Music City's first dedicated handroll bar.
The format is simple. Handrolls are made from scratch, one at a time, and handed over as soon as they're rolled so the seaweed stays crisp. Diners sit close to the chef and the team while they work. "This space is part of the story, not just the backdrop," Stacks said in the release.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Hattori Nori serves only from 5 to 9 p.m. Early in the week, the market's two newest kitchens run on almost opposite schedules. Hattori opens Tuesday evening, and Saap Saap stays closed until Wednesday.
None of this replaced the daytime market. L&L's food directory still lists Five Daughters Bakery, Eat Bubbles, Ben & Jerry's, Marigold Gourmet Popcorn, Thai Ni Yom, Taco Chela, Penne Pazze and Kardes Turkish Grill & Bar alongside Honest Coffee. The shops are still daytime errands too: Amelia's Flowers, growUP for children's gifts and art supplies, Made in TN, and Vinnie Louise for women's clothing. There's also a long list of studios and services, including CycleBar, Bend and Zen, Nashville Art Club and Studio Row, a custom apparel and vintage shop.
So the morning and evening buildings serve different purposes. Picking up a birthday gift at growUP or a bouquet at Amelia's is a daytime trip. Dinner at Saap Saap followed by a drink at Jubilee is an evening one, and only a few of the older restaurants overlap with both. L&L's online events calendar showed nothing scheduled for the rest of October, so for now the evening crowd comes for the regular tenants, not for programming.
The new schedules leave a few gaps, and nearby spots fill some of them.
Mondays. Saap Saap and Hattori Nori are both closed. A few blocks west, Two Ten Jack's new Sylvan Supply location at 4109 Charlotte Avenue is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m. On Friday it stays open until 10 p.m., on Saturday it serves dinner only from 5 to 10 p.m., and it's closed Sunday. It opened in September, and StyleBlueprint's roundup listed ramen, spicy crab noodles, crispy rice with spicy tuna and Japanese fried chicken among its dishes.
Saturday mornings. Richland Park Farmers Market at 4711 Charlotte Avenue runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon through December, according to Nashville Guru. The market closes at noon, and Saap Saap's and Jubilee's weekend hours begin then. That's the one stretch of the week when the Charlotte Avenue morning flows straight into the new L&L afternoon.
The walk over. If you usually reach Charlotte Avenue on the Richland Creek Greenway, check the route first. According to Metro Parks' closures page, last updated October 16, 2026, the boardwalk from Colorado Avenue to the 51st Avenue area closed on October 11 for replacement. The work is expected to take about 11 to 14 weeks, which runs from roughly late December into mid-January. The trailhead and parking lot at 22 White Bridge Road, by the NES substation, are scheduled to stay closed through November 6.
